Some of the world's top water ski racing athletes will compete in the 2025 Havasu Springs Water Ski Races\, March 29-30 and May 3-4\, at the Havasu Springs Resort on Lake Havasu in Parker\, Ariz.\n\n \n\nBoth events are sanctioned by the National Water Ski Racing Association (NWSRA) and will feature some of the world's top water ski racing athletes. The NWSRA's 2025 schedule showcases adrenaline-pumping action spanning across multiple locations\, featuring marathons\, sprints and ocean series races.\n\n \n\nThe Havasu Springs Water Ski Races will include four racing categories and more than a dozen classes within those categories\, in addition to a Grass Roots division in which first-time participants enjoy free registration and assistance with gear and equipment to get started in the sport.\n\n \n\nSprint races will be held on Saturday and marathon races will take place on Sunday\, with the exception of the Men's Open and Men's F2 classes\, which will run marathons both days for world team qualifying\, and Grass Roots\, which runs sprint races both days.\n\n \n\nTop U.S. water ski racers expected to compete include Mason Goldsmith (Los Alamitos\, Calif.) and Amy Threlfall (Palmdale\, Calif.)\, who were named the NWSRA's 2024 Male Athlete of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year\, respectively\, along with Julia Williams (Long Beach\, Calif.)\, who won the Women's Open and Women's Formula 2 titles at the 2024 U.S. Open Water Ski Racing National Championships.
